News and Photograph Gallery The recent rainfall has led to a rise in water levels, and some fish have moved upstream. I have had reports of a few salmon and also some grilse - including a very fresh fish with sealice on it. Seatrout continue to be caught. There appear to be a number of rainbow trout still in the Earn around the fish farm, following the large escape last year - it had been hoped that these would have moved off downstream. Most of these fish are small, in the quarter- to half-pound range, but there is the odd bigger one - there has been a report of one in excess of 9lb.
We do not yet have many photographs suitable for display, as this website is a new venture. If you have any digital pictures which you think would be appropriate, please e-mail them to pat@ruchil.co.uk. Conventional photographs can be sent to Pat Silvey at the address on the left, where they will be scanned, and the originals returned to the owner.
